I almost called this post, "Friday I'm in L-----Why the hell isn't winter over yet?" But I restrained myself for two reasons. One is that I think I'm not going to use my themes in blog post titles anymore, just in labels. Two is that my Friday posts are supposed to be about positivity and things I love.
So once again I'm revisiting a past trip. Where it was WARM.
Last year we went to Jekyll Island, Georgia, to help celebrate my aunt and uncle's 50th wedding anniversary. It was sort of a mini-family reunion with my mom's side of the family and it was so much fun. There were so many terrific cousins around we barely had to watch our own kids. It was awesome. Jekyll Island would be fun even if you didn't have family members watching over your kids, though.
I could not find any of our mini-golf pictures, but there's a mini-golf course too. We had so much fun. And we didn't have to wear winter coats!
