Four years ago I gave birth on election day. I nursed this little guy, crying with new mom hormones and joy, as I sat in my hospital room watching historic election returns. This year I was lucky enough to watch them while he cuddled on my lap (for a few minutes, anyway). I think Hugmonkey might be my election year luck charm.
