Thank you to the firefighters, police officers and EMTs who raced TO the Towers, the Pentagon and the field.

Thank you to the brave men and women who helped and comforted each other through horrifying circumstances.

Thank you to all the rescue workers who volunteered their time, energy and health.

Thank you to all the families and loved ones who have memorialized their losses and created new lives.

Thank you to everyone who has turned those first feelings of shock, anger and grief into something positive.
