So yesterday my insurance company sent an adjuster to look at our car. Many weeks ago, I bumped into a tree (long story - the parking lot looked empty, okay?). The front bumper was dented. No biggie, right? But realizing that we're going to need to trade my beloved Subaru in to buy the minivan we need, we decided to get the Subaru fixed. Hence, insurance guy.
Insurance guy was pretty rude and unfriendly. Which I could have gotten over, had he not declared the car undrive-able (something about the condenser being pushed too close to the radiator) but NOT totaled. Did I mention that this is our only car? And if we have to buy a new one, we really don't want to waste money on a rental (because my rental coverage is laughable)?
But wait, it gets better. Today I got an email from my boss on the prefab site saying that he was not renewing my contract. I'd be relieved, actually, because the rules for writing on the site are devised to make it as boring and lame as possible and THIS site has a higher rank, except for the fact that I was planning on using that income to pay for the damn minivan.
To sum up, I lost my car and my job within a 24 hour period.
If anyone knows of any legit work at home jobs, needs any writing, editing or tutoring done online, please let me know. Oh, and if you wouldn't mind heading over to the my money making site, or even linking to it so I could improve my page rank and make more money on it, that would be awesome. I've deleted and re-typed that line about four times. I'm sorry to ask you to go look at something not because it's a cool site but because it would help me, but, um, we need a new car.
